Call for Event Volunteers!!

The Sacramento-UC Davis Competition, like all other FIRST Competitions, is run entirely by volunteers during the 3 days of the event. Typically 60 volunteers contribute blocks of 3 to 4 hours of their time in a range of roles that keep the event running smoothly. Volunteer duties range from helping with setup of the Game field and Pit areas, greeting VIPs and Volunteers, staffing the information booth, handling team liaison, food service and other duties. You do not need to have prior experience at a FIRST competition. If you are available for at least 4 hours during the event times on March 26-28, 2009 and would like to volunteer please go to the FIRST website for information on eligibility and how to register as a volunteer through the FIRST Volunteer Information and Matching System (VIMS) system.

In the VIMS system, choose FRC and then under “event” choose “2009-FRC-Sacramento Regional”. If you are unsure about what position you would like, simply check “Assign as needed”. The event coordinator will contact you once you have been assigned to a position. All volunteers need to register through VIMS to participate as a volunteer at the event.
